Todoist is a great app for many reasons – but some of the features can be difficult to find.
Todoist is a great app. If you're not sure where to find your completed tasks watch this short video.Some things in Todoist can be a little hard to find,. You complete a task in ToDoist with or without a label; You can use these triggers to do any of the following creative automation: Whenever you complete a task updating your website, automatically. 'Complete my task Mow the lawn' - “Complete the task Transcribe interview” You can even add key details, just like when using Todoist quick add: - 'Add a task Submit my report tomorrow p1 #work @urgent' This will create a task called “Submit my report” due tomorrow with a priority of 1 in your Work project with the Urgent label. I'm using the Sync API v5.3, which returns all data with one call. It doesn't return completed tasks, though. You would need to traverse the projects manually. The current API v6 was simplified and now it's obviously possible to get all completed tasks with one call. I will look into this. Do more with your completed tasks, like analyze them in a spreadsheet for even more insight into your productivity. Use this Zap to make that easy, automatically sending your completed Todoist tasks to an Excel spreadsheet where you can sort and analyze them. Viewing completed tasks is one of those features that took me some time to figure out and I get asked how to view completed tasks from time to time.

However, if you aren’t a premium user you are somewhat limited as you cannot see ALL completed tasks.
That shouldn’t stop you from using this great app though, and if you’re a productivity oriented person who likes to use the method of completed task review one a daily or weekly basis you should really ante up for the premium app – it’s a couple of dollars per month and well worth it.
